Allpro Parking is proud to announce that William “Bill” Witnauer has been promoted to District Manager of the company’s eastern region. Bill joined Allpro’s corporate team in a Business Development capacity in February 2021 with more than a decade of experience in parking management in Buffalo. Initially, his position was focused on a proposal to manage the City of Buffalo–owned parking garages. However, he has since assisted Tom Eckl, West District Manager, and Rick Doetterl, Project Manager & Loss Prevention Manager, on a variety of proposals and has helped the company land several new contracts.


LAZ Parking announced that it has been selected to operate the municipal trolley service of the City of Laguna Beach, CA. Under the agreement unanimously approved by the Laguna Beach City Council earlier this year, LAZ will operate 25 City-owned trolleys on a year-round basis, work that will require up to 100 drivers during the peak summer season. The contract runs for five years and comes with two three-year renewal options.


Following a spectator-less debut NFL season caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium kicked off its first full-attendance NFL season on August 14th with an exciting hometown rival pre-season game that will see the Los Angeles Rams play the Los Angeles Chargers. In recent weeks, the City of Inglewood announced several transportation options to SoFi Stadium for NFL games—including its partnership with LAZ Parking on the launch of the city’s IPark&Go remote parking and shuttle program.


LAZ Parking has been awarded a three-year contract by the City of Aurora, Colorado to professionally manage all aspects the municipal parking operation, known as Park Aurora. Under the direction of the city’s Parking & Mobility Services Manager, Scott C. Bauman, CAPP, LAZ Parking will provide comprehensive parking management services to operate and maintain the on-street enforcement program, the city-owned off-street parking facilities, permit and pay station operations, and all customer service needs.

Endera announced Mark Barczak as the Director of Manufacturing in Ohio. Mr. Barczak brings nearly 30 years of experience designing, leading, and driving large-scale and highly efficient manufacturing solutions. The company also welcomes Mary Kathryn Campbell as Director of Government Relations. In this newly created role, Ms. Campbell will lead a team that helps shape policy and legislation to promote the company’s business objectives, including vehicle emissions, the environment, technology, electric shuttle buses and medium-duty trucks.

This includes its first-, second- and third-generation products that have been driven across a wide variety of end-use applications.

Visitors of CITYCENTRE, a mixed-use development in Houston developed by Midway, will now be able to pay for parking quickly and easily on their phone using T2 MobilePay. The mobile payment platform, from parking technology leader T2 Systems, will be available in 167 on-street and 941 off-street parking spaces. CITYCENTRE also offers an abundance of free parking options with easy access to retailers, restaurants, and the plaza.

ITR Parking Solutions, a provider of parking, access and revenue control services, has been awarded by Emory Decatur Hospital with a project scope that includes upgrading the current parking and revenue control system with DESIGNA USA’s innovative Connect Series parking management solution. The campus wide upgrade will include two parking garages and four surface lots, totaling over thirty lanes of parking controls throughout the facility’s property.


Marston Holdings has introduced a new notice processing and enforcement service that will help councils to effectively enforce contraventions committed by foreign registered vehicles (FRVs) on British roads. These vehicles are more likely to contravene traffic and parking regulations than drivers of UK registered vehicles as well as being less likely to pay the penalty charges which they incur.


A U.S. manufacturer of electric vehicle charging stations today announced its new hassle-free 90-day satisfaction guarantee program. The program from Connecticut-based JuiceBar sets a new industry benchmark for reliability and buyer confidence in a market awash in foreign-made EV chargers. The news follows on the heels of the Company’s July 1, 2021 announcement that JuiceBar’s EV charging stations meet ‘Made in America’ criteria, furthering the company’s 12-year commitment to American jobs.


JuiceBar has announced a program that will credit $1,000 for every old charger that is exchanged for one of the company’s new chargers. U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) toured JuiceBar and hailed the company’s decision to build a Made in America product with over 70 percent of its components made in the United States. The senator also announced that JuiceBar, based in Norwalk, has been named August’s “Innovator of the Month.” 


WattEV Inc., a company dedicated to accelerating the heavy-duty trucking industry’s transition to electric drive, announced it is set to receive a $5 million grant from the California Energy Commission to build the state’s first solar-powered truck stop dedicated to heavy-duty electric trucks. Groundbreaking for the project is expected in late October. The announcement was made at the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo 2021 in Long Beach. 


ParkOffice has launched its new solution, Spotshare. The feature, which has been dubbed ‘the stock exchange of employee parking’ will enable multitudes of companies to share, swap and trade parking spots based on demand. It is hoped Spotshare will help reduce the levels of stress associated with parking as workers across the UK continue to return to the office. ParkOffice is a leading parking management software solution that enables employers to optimize employee parking.


The Harman Group is pleased to announce the grand opening of the new Woodland Parking Garage at Abington Hospital. The new, five-level, precast concrete garage provides 247 parking spaces for hospital patients, visitors and staff and includes a pedestrian bridge to the Hospital. The project consisted of the demolition and replacement of the former 50-year-old Woodland Parking Garage on the same site.

New features include an improved user experience, an online Customer Portal that allows for quick payment without having to create an account; and registered account enhancements, including view and pay multiple accounts at once, view payment history, etc.

Parkopedia has announced a partnership with leading fuel payment provider CarPay-Diem. The new partnership expands the coverage of Parkopedia’s in-car fueling payment solution to now become the largest facilitator across Europe. CarPay-Diem is a fueling payment provider, with a 90 percent returning customer rate, in which the corporate services provider Edenred has recently invested.


Beam Global has announced that the City of Lancaster, California has ordered an EV ARC solar-powered EV charging systems for public use. The system was funded in part by grants from the Antelope Valley Air Quality Management District and California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services. Beam Global also announced that the City of Racine, Wisconsin has deployed an EV ARC solar-powered EV charging system for use by city fleet electric vehicles. The system was purchased through the General Services Administration Multiple Award Schedule Contract Number 47QSWA21D0006.
