SKIDATA Inc. has named Darrell Smithson President, North America. Smithson will oversee all of SKIDATA’s operations throughout the United States and Canada. “Darrell Smithson is a respected and innovative leader,” said David Luken, CEO of parent company SKIDATA GMBH.

Honk and CityParking Inc. have partnered to bring contactless parking payments to Richmond. In response to COVID-19, CityParking Inc. has removed physical pay stations and replaced them with Honk’s tap-to-pay smart stations. FlashParking has completed the acquisition of Mountain Parking Equipment, a Denver, Colorado-based company that has served hundreds of customers over the last 25 years. The deal expands FlashParking’s customer base in the Southwest and Mountain regions.

Students and faculty at Utah Valley University can now pay to park using the Passport Parking mobile app. The company saw ample growth throughout Q3 including a partnership with Google Maps to create a new digital parking payment feature in Austin, Texas.

Endera announced the delivery of 18 all-electric passenger shuttles to ACE Parking, for use at the San Diego International Airport. By the end of 2020, the entire 29 all-electric vehicles will be delivered, making it the nation’s largest deployment of an all-electric fleet at a U.S. airport.
