A new project in Vietnam, including safety systems and traffic offences control renovation, will involve Tattile ALPR cameras through the collaboration with local partners. Several Tattile license plate reader cameras will be used to measure vehicle speed in the most critical stretches of the road and detect red-light runners in the selected intersections.

Sharjah Airport Authority has been awarded for managing and operating all vehicle parking at Sharjah Airport to Mawgif, the National Parking Company, in order to improve parking at the airport for the benefit of passengers, customers and employees. Mawgif

A consortium made up of Jaguar Land Rover, AppyWay (formerly AppyParking), Coventry City Council, Milton Keynes Council and managed by WhiteWillow Consulting announced their Innovate UK funded project, ‘ParkAV’, is spearheading technical and commercial research to help realize level 4/5 CAV adoption in cities. The project aims to solve the issue of where these vehicles will drop off passengers, and how they park between trips to recharge.


AppyWay has announced their partnership with TFL and the London Freight lab to innovate freight and servicing in London. As part of the Mayor’s Transport Strategy, the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has created a freight and servicing action plan to tackle the poor air quality, congestion and road traffic accidents that have increased as a result of urban migration and the rise of online shopping. 


SKIDATA urges owners of parking assets to look to frictionless parking to protect their staff and patrons, and promote public health. “Owners and operators who already have frictionless technologies in place should encourage tenants and parking patrons to take advantage of the technology and create user accounts. The parking industry commends swift action in bipartisan passage of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES). Q-Free announced it will deploy a comprehensive parking guidance system (PGS) at the Victorian Square parking garage in Sparks, Nevada. The system will provide real-time information on available spaces, making it easier for drivers to find parking. It will also allow the city to post parking availability information through an app or website, further enabling drivers to better plan their parking in the city.


BendPak is opening a new 100,000-square-foot distribution center near Mobile, Alabama, to better serve customers in the eastern United States. The administrative and shipping complex, which is expected to be fully operational within 60 days, is located in Theodore, just a short drive from the expanding Port of Mobile.

Park Assist was selected by Cache Creek Casino to install its M4 Parking Guidance System (PGS) in Brooks, California. The Casino, owned and operated by the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, is located about 1.5 hours from San Francisco. On a typical weekend the parking garage is often at maximum capacity and during special events it is overflowing.


SP Plus Corporation has been selected as the parking management company to serve Park-Line Miami, a luxury residential community at Virgin MiamiCentral. In Arkansas, the Bentonville Street Department is using TraffiCloud from All Traffic Solutions to determine how to solve current road safety challenges and plan for the future. A significant development is that TraffiCloud will also provide data that will be used to measure and plan road capacity needs in line with future economic expansion.


In response to the current coronavirus outbreak, HonkMobile, a provider of electronic payments for the parking industry, announced today it will be providing its HonkTAP pay stations to owners and operators of parking across North America at no cost in an effort to encourage drivers everywhere to pay for parking via contactless payments. The World Health Organization recently issued a statement urging consumers to use contactless payments whenever possible.


Barnacle Parking Enforcement has integrated their Enterprise Management System with Ballparc’s cloud-based enforcement platform. The new integration will support mutual customers including Premier Parking and Allpro Parking.
