David Luken appointed new CEO of SKIDATA AG


After seven years at the helm of the SKIDATA executive board, Hugo Rohner has decided to return to his home country for personal reasons. Under Rohner’s leadership, SKIDATA further expanded its global position as the world market leader in access and visitor management, doubling revenues since 2012. “I thoroughly enjoyed my time at SKIDATA and would like to thank all customers and employees for their sincere dedication and enriching cooperation within SKIDATA”, explains Rohner.


David Luken will succeed Rohner at SKIDATA AG as its new CEO at the end of June. The U.S.-American brings decades of U.S. and international experience to the company and will continue to drive the path of global expansion in the core segments Parking, Mountain and Stadia. With his knowledge as technology leader, he will further strengthen the company’s innovation and digitalization strategies


He has demonstrated a strong ability to deliver customer-centric technology at Honeywell, where he held several positions before being appointed Vice President of their global Airlines Business Segment. Following his time at Honeywell, he joined Zero Mass Water, a technology company advancing global water quality and resilience.

Mitchell Carter
Named Eastern Regional
Sales Manager at Toledo Ticket


Mitchell Carter was named Eastern Regional Sales Manager in March 2019, for The Toledo Ticket Company, a leading provider of ticketing solutions for nearly 110 years. As a member of the founding family of Toledo Ticket, Mitch says that he has gained a new appreciation for the longevity of the company as well as its progressive nature. 


“I was always generally aware of my father and grandfather’s work growing up, but now that I’m part of the company, I see how broad Toledo Ticket’s capabilities are and how far it has come.”


As the Eastern Regional Sales Manager, Mitch will maintain the client base and sales of tickets, cards, tags and coupons within the Eastern region, including Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia. “I hope my youthfulness helps bring a new outlook to Toledo Ticket,” said Mitch. “I plan to help interlace the two primary functions of the company and bring them closer together so that clients can see how broad our services and capabilities are today.”


That versatility includes the company’s “green approach” to flexible services and products, which have grown from every form of ticket imaginable to RFID tags and credentials for colleges, universities, municipal, healthcare, government, and institutional, as well as private parking operations to improve security and convenience. 


“I plan to do all I can to help make sure Toledo Ticket is around for another 100 years,” said Mitch.


 


Denison Parking Announces Senior Management Changes


Denison Parking, an Indianapolis-based parking operator, promoted Matthew Belanger to Senior Vice President – Service Delivery. “Matt has a passion and commitment to driving process improvements throughout the organization. His open communication style is just one of his many impressive attributes. Our Senior Leadership Team has come together remarkably, and we are thrilled with what Matt brings to the table,” says Jeff Line, President of Denison Parking. “The Denison Difference will be enhanced as a result of Matt’s commitment to delivering high quality services. His extensive background and leadership will further create an environment where our clients benefit from our focus on quality, innovation, and a personal touch”,  says C. Perry Griffith, III, Senior Vice President.


Matt will focus on driving excellence throughout the breadth of Denison’s Service lines. He will be responsible for the seamless execution of Denison’s field operations, accounting, audit, and reporting functions as well as retaining the oversight for Denison’s IT Infrastructure as CIO.


The move directly supports Denison Parking’s efforts to grow the business and help clients capitalize on the digital transformation impacting all industries. Belanger, having previously held many diverse roles for companies like IBM, and Lucent Technologies, is well equipped to lead this evolution for Denison Parking.


Denison Parking is also excited to announce that Minneapolis-based Damon Noga, is Denison’s new National Vice President of Business Development and Indianapolis-based John Hedge, has been promoted to Director of Operations. “Our team is focused and committed to providing the highest quality service to clients and customers. I am certain that both Damon and John will elevate our operations and drive organizational excellence”, says Line.


AVPMi NAMES KEN SHIN VICE PRESIDENT-WESTERN US


 AVPMi is pleased to announce the addition of industry veteran Ken Shin as Vice President-Western US. In his new position, Shin will oversee and direct the company’s business development across the western half of the United States, from Texas through California. He will also establish a new Los Angeles office, from which he will manage the company’s expansion throughout the region.
