Scheidt & Bachmann (S&B) USA recently appointed Joseph Galeas as Vice President of Operations for its Parking Division. He will oversee the project management and technical support teams on a national level. 

S&B’s parking access and revenue control system division offers equipment and software management solutions to clients such as airports, municipalities and hospitals across North America, the company said. 

“Through an extensive search process, it became apparent that Joe shares the same operational philosophy and professional experience that we were looking for,” said S&B USA’s President John MacDonald. “[His] experience in operations, project management and leadership make him an instrumental addition to our executive team.”

Galeas has held managerial positions for corporations such as Sprint and Ericsson Inc., and also was involved in extensive strategic initiatives to streamline operational processes. He is credited for being part of the deployment team that brought the first 4G networks to Boston and Providence, RI. 

“Besides being a world leader in the industry, S&B exhibits a great sense of community,” said Galeas. “I am a strong believer in developing those I am surrounded by. I intend to capitalize on team strengths and enhancing employee performance that will help build a motivated workforce.”
