Advanced Parking Concepts Celebrates 30th Anniversary

September, 2015

Founder and CEO Ellis M. Dumont has announced the 30th anniversary of Advanced Parking Concepts (APC).

Founded in 1985, APC has “achieved the goal of becoming the pre-eminent valet parking/shuttle/concierge operator in the New York metropolitan market,” Dumont said. From the beginning, APC has employed “cutting-edge technology and advanced metrics that delineated it from the competition.”

Initially starting with service for one luxury condominium, the company has expanded its portfolio to include 35 full-time locations, including condominiums, medical centers, universities and corporate centers.

Most accounts have contracted with APC in excess of 25 years.

Additionally, APC’s Event Division services more than 700 events annually and exclusively at locations such as the NJ Performing Arts Center, Cipriani 42nd & Wall, the Pierre Hotel and the Waldorf Astoria, to name just a few.

The engine that has always driven APC’s success has been the quality of its staff, the company said. Long-standing employees such as Managing Director Adebisi Bamigboye and Director of Operations Darrin Smith have provided tremendous leadership for more than 20 years, along with countless other dedicated staff with equally long tenure.

Headquartered in Verona, NJ, and originally working out of one room, APC went on to purchase the entire building in 2007.
