A state association ‘tune-up

February, 2014

What Works and What Doesn’t?

By Marilyn Etheridge

Is your state or local parking association everything it should be to your members? Are they engaged? Do you suffer from “the same people do all the work” syndrome? Let’s face it: Your annual conference could always be more successful.

If you have these or other concerns, the State Association Tune-Up session Sunday afternoon (March 16) at the Parking Industry Exhibition PIE 2014 is for you.

If you’ve been looking for ideas to improve your association – organization, delegation, efficiency, member participation and revenue – join us for this interactive discussion. Presenters will discuss actual association experiences that have worked (and some that haven’t) during their extensive tenure with state associations.

We will discuss:

Organizing the association for future success.

    Managing the association.

    Increasing membership.

    Annual conference.

    Member awards.

This will be an open, interactive discussion; we welcome your input.
