Metric Group And Amano Form Strategic Alliance

The largest manufacturer of pay-on-foot (POF) carpark systems in the world has formed a strategic alliance with the UK’s only manufacturer of pay-and-display (P&D) parking machines.
Amano, with its long-established Xparc range of POF equipment, will partner with the Metric Group, which has been appointed its exclusive UK sales distribution channel. Said Peter Aylward, Metric Group’s Managing Director: “The prestigious Amano range is a welcome addition to our product portfolio and creates an excellent opportunity for both companies over the coming years.“The Metric Customer Support Team, which is the largest in the UK parking industry, will provide service and after sales support for all existing and new installations.”
The new alliance follows from a similar partnership formed last year when sister company Amano McGann became the sole distribution agent for Metric P&D machines in the United States.
